Sculptor Brad Stark is back, this time in the breezeway by Town Hall Arts, with his “Introductions to Stone Sculpture” class. Class will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $30. Sign up with Larry at townhallarts@caltel.com or call 785-2050. Bring tools from home or purchase tools onsite. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dusty. Purchase soapstone t carve form Town Hall Arts 2 $5 to $20.

ßPour it On and Technique Class
Ken McBride is back with two classes. You may sign up for any one or both of these classes. On Oct. 2, Ken will "Pour It On" on the grass under canopies. On Oct. 9, returning students with finished pours (from any McBride session) may bring in their artwork for help in the "Finishing Tricks and Techniques Workshop". Cost is $25 per workshop. Sign up early with Larry 785-2050 ($15 deposit).

Portrait Contest. Black Bart Poses for Artists
Following Book Signing, Saturday, October 16.
Our own Black Bart, Glenn Wasson, who many saw in the 150th Copperopolis
Parade, will conduct a book signing of his popular book, Tales Mark Twain Would
Have Loved to Steal, from noon to 2 p.m. in the gazebo. Following the signing, he will pose in full
costume for artists. Artists
participating may enter Galerie Copper’s
Black Bart Portrait Contest. First prize is a gift basket from Town Hall Arts
with $100 worth of supplies. Completed
portrait entries are due Oct. 23.
